Reporting is finished. You can report a file or comment easily now if it breaks the rules. I can't look through and view every single thing that passes through this site myself so be sure to use this feature when the situation demands it.

I also hope you guys don't mind the advertising, even though I make a grand total of twenty cents a day from them...oh well, it's something. Hopefully it'll help pay for the hosting. Better yet, if you want to help, help by spreading the word! Super Mario War is wildly fun and it'll only continue getting better. Tell your friends, post about it on forums, get involved! The more people that play the better this site will be, because then more people will submit content, and the wider the array of stuff you can use in it will become.

I've went ahead and updated the site. Uploading is a bit smoother now. It checks if you're uploading a file too large too and subsequently errors you, instead of returning an invalid SQL error. No more being confused about filesizes!

There's also a nifty menu that allows you to choose what type you want to upload, and <i>then</i> giving you the upload form. This way the upload page is much smaller visually and looks a lot cleaner. I also fixed a bug with uploading skins, and you are able to rename files once again.

Coming up next, commenting on news posts and unparsing bbcode when editing comments! Fun stuff.

EDIT: News commenting is enabled. I'll...tackle unparsing bbcode some other time. Just deal with it for now, lol.

Yeah, that's right. An update. I went ahead and picked some staff picks myself, since I haven't seen much of the other staff around...I should fix that. Anyways, I know you guys might not like it, but I need to put ads up soon, but to make up for it, I will try to maintain the site once again and start improving upon it. I have a little list here that I can reference so let's hope I can get this stuff in without breaking things!

The lack of updates is because I really can't get myself to edit the site code while it's now 'live' more or less. That and the rest of the staff is lazy. :V No one cares enough for the content pick feature I implemented.

The site moves very slowly though (activity wise anyways) and in general, doesn't feel as lively as I hoped it would be. The biggest issue is parting the card images from being constantly dynamic and therefore, clogging up the PHP on the server, but both times I've tried this, I ended up failing to the point to where I was better off not touching it in the first place. Skin cards in particular are just not really designed to go well with this; it's like trying to make a random avatar script static, it destroys the point of it.

Either way, I am still watching the site and the forums on occasion. Whenever I get money, maybe I'll even buy a new domain for Super Mario War. This site will go on it of course.

Welcome to the grand reopening of SMW Stuff! I'm your new manager and coder, JJ, and the rest of the team will surely introduce themselves as time goes on. The large majority of the site is finished with a couple small things and a couple big things here and there but for the most part, it works and is fully functional.

We hope you enjoy using the site and putting it to good use, and hopefully this will finally outdate the old and tired FFH. Happy uploading!
